THEIR HANDS ARE IN YOUR TOKES! Dealers at Caesars Palace have voted on certain tokes issues and benefits throughout the years. One such benefit was the payment of A full share of tokes was paid to Dealers who found themselves in a "non-elective medical procedure" which left them hospitalized, such as surgeries, auto accidents and the such. The Dealer received a full share of tokes each day that they were an inpatient for such incidents. Then after Harrah’s took over, management felt it was their place to tell us what to do with our tokes and put an end to Hospital Tokes. Management says, "We provide you with Disability Insurance which will take care of time off ". B...S...!!! First of all, to collect "Disability" one must be out of work for a minimum of two weeks and one day! The first two weeks there is NO COVERAGE AT ALL! Then, after the beginning of the third week an employee becomes eligible for "Disability Insurance". To get your first check will take up to FOUR WEEKS AFTER the employee becomes "eligible". That is up to SEVEN WEEKS WITH NO INCOME! Then, each and every "eligible" week, the employee must fight with the insurance company to get their disability check! This is how management "takes care of us"?! Many Dealers at CP have worked for decades, and during this time contributed to Hospital Tokes, and luckily have never collected few, if any. Yet those Dealers have paid them out to many others who qualified and will now never have the opportunity to collect back what they have paid out if they need it. Management's response is, "If the Dealer is never hospitalized, they will never get their money for hospital tokes back making it unfair for those who never collect". What a laugh! If an employee is never sick, then what about all the insurance premiums we have paid in? Will we get those back?
