Does anyone have a current “Dealer’s Manual” or "Employee Manual" that explains all the procedures for all of the games? Without a current manual for us to follow, how can we know if we are following the proper procedures? It seems that procedures in CP are set by “rumor”. There is a “memo book” both in pit two and by the toke books in the dealers lounge, but when a procedure changes shouldn’t it be managements responsibility to issue an “update” for the procedure manual for each and every dealer?
But instead, they slip something into the “memo book” (if even that) and make each dealer responsible for checking the memo book each and every shift to stay updated on any possible procedure changes. Maybe, , we will be informed at ONE "Buzz Session" of a "New Policy". If you are not at that "session", oh well. That memo book is also full of other things like showroom info and other things not directly related to dealing procedures. We believe that: when a procedure is changed, each and every dealer should be given an updated copy of the change to add to their personal manual! This would ensure that we have been informed of a procedure change and we would not be reprimanded for not following a procedure that we didn’t know about. We also believe that when a new game hits the floor, each Dealer should be provided with the manual for that game to add to their personal procedures manual.
