Here we will try our best to give the history of the Caesars Palace Dealers. We know that this will be far from complete, so please help us by providing us with more facts and history so we will be better able to document the chronology of our journey. Being a Caesars Palace Dealer has not always been just about the money, it was about how we were treated. It was great being a Caesars Palace Dealer! We knew we were all the best in the industry and management treated us as such. The VP of Casino Ops knew us all by name. The shift manager knew about our children and many other close personal things. We would actually enjoy coming to work and looked forward to the happenings of the shift. We would have other employees from other departments assigned to our break room to ensure we had a stress-free and relaxing break (those people also made very good money from the tips they once received from the Dealers). Customers knew us personally. They came to Caesars Palace just for the Dealers! They showered us in gifts! We would even join them in different places across the world when we vacationed. Then, at the end of the shift, many of us would all meet at a local watering hole for some tales and relaxation. And yes, even the "bosses" joined us. There was no separation between us all. There was no "jockeying for position" because we were all exactly where we wanted to be doing what we loved so much. We were all very proud of who we were and what we had accomplished in our careers! Yes, the times of being a Dealer at Caesars Palace were once very grand! "Times have changed". They have changed for the worse because we did nothing to stop it! We did not have to lose these things and our way of life, but because we are only "individuals" there was nothing we could do to prevent it. We were "out-muscled" by corporate greed! Yes, times have changed, but have we? No we haven't!
