We heard a very good comparison made the other day, and it goes like this:

Where do we, as non-union employees, go to resolve issues we have at work? Well, it used to be Human Resources.

Next time you walk into the HR offices, take a look around. How many employees are in HR? How many business machines such as phones, copiers and fax machines. Take a close look and ask yourself, "How much does it cost to run an operation such as HR?"

Many have asked, including management, "What can a Union do for the Dealers?".

Well, the Union is our own Human Resources!

People talk about Union dues and what they get out of them. As we have said, how much does it cost a casino to run their HR? The Union will be representing potentially 10's of thousands of Dealers in this city, more than the HR at any casino. With the Union essentially acting as our own HR, for Dealers only, we get a great benefit!

If you are a Union Dealer, bypass HR altogether when it comes to any problems you may be having at work and CALL THE LOCAL. The Local 721 will assist you in resolving any problems you may be having. Let the Local call HR for you!
